Our Investment Philosophy

Our investment portfolio is built neither to minimize risk nor to maximize returns but to perform well in all market conditions and provide consistent superior returns. We call it the “all-weather” approach to investing (a phrase coined and popularized by Ray Dalio).

Our Investment Strategy

  • Our strategy is to divide our investments under 4 core buckets - Safe, Balanced, Volatile and Risk.
  • Our asset allocation is diversified across traditional asset classes like Debt, Equity, Real Estate & Gold as well as new asset classes like REITS, Private Credit, Private Equity & Venture Capital. We diversify at the asset class level but try to concentrate at the sub asset class level.
  • We design, track and measure our portfolio around Risk, Return, Volatility, Liquidity, Tangibility & Concentrations – and ensure we stay within our defined limits.
  • We are predominantly passive investors, with a bias towards holding quality assets for the long term.
  • We evaluate new opportunities with caution and patience. We don’t shy away from taking calculated risks or risks we can well understand.
  • We respect and value the knowledge and experience of our trusted advisers.
